Financing Your Adoption
Often families who adopt have the means to support a child, but they do not have the financial resources to cover all of the upfront fees.
CH/LSS families have the opportunity to apply for our in-house Adoption Support Fund grant program. Additionally, all clients have free access to Your Adoption Finance Coach.

It is common for families completing an international adoption to use one or two agencies. You will need an agency licensed in your state, as well as one approved/licensed for the country from which you are adopting.
Children’s Home can provide home study and placement services in Minnesota.
If you are a U.S. resident living outside of these areas, Children’s Home can assist you with the placement of a child through one of our international programs. At the same time, you work with another agency, licensed in your state of residence, to complete your home study.
